Friday, May 28th, 2021 Messages and Reminders: - We will be starting our Human Sexuality unit on Monday. If you have not signed the waiver please send it with your child on Monday. If you do not have a waiver please email me with your confirmation. - Spring picture day is Monday, May 31. - Students are to be working on their news articles at home this weekend if they did not finish them in class this week. Pillars of Care - May Winners Care for Others: Hannah has shown care for others by interacting with different classmates and working on positive peer relationships. She has done this by being kind and asking others to play at recess.  Care for Learning: Adan showed care for learning by working on his stamina to complete tasks and putting in more effort into all subjects. He especially showed his care for learning by showing up to online school and asking meaningful questions to clarify assignments. Care for Place: Mercedez shows care for place by always making sure she takes care of the outdoor classroom equipment and returning it where it belongs without being asked. Care for Self: Vince has shown care for self by taking more interest in his learning and always adding relevant comments or questions to classroom discussions. Thursday, May 27th, 2021 Messages and Reminders: - Tomorrow is twin day and our virtual Pillar of Care assembly. - Spring picture day is on Monday. Spring Picture Day is coming Monday, May 31. Lifetouch donates $2 to the school for every photo taken on this day. After Picture Day, you may choose to order pictures on mylifetouch.ca using your Portrait ID and Access Code which can be found on your Picture Day order form (this will come home about a week after picture day). - Please sign the Human Sexuality waiver and send back to school before Monday. We will be starting the unit then. - Tomorrow is our last day to work on our news articles. If they are not completed students will need to complete them at home over the weekend.
