Pillars of Care - June Winners

 Pillars of Care - June Winners Care for Others: Tina has shown care for others this month by expanding her circle at recess and playing with other peers. She has done a great job of involving others and making them feel welcome.  Care for Learning: Chase has shown care for learning this month by completing some outstanding assignments and focusing on finishing one task at a time. He is really gearing up to take his learning seriously next year at SJAM. Fiera shows care for learning by investing in what she is learning and always trying to deepen her understanding of topics. She continues to ask questions and strives to improve her assignments frequently.  Care for Place: Aaliyah has shown care for place by being more aware of her surroundings and trying to clean up after herself with less reminders. Monday, June 21, 2021  Messages and Reminder: - June pillars of care award winners will be announced on Wednesday. The last virtual assembly will be on Friday. - Friday's spirit day is Hawaiian/Beach day themed. Please make sure you are still following school dress code. - There will be a drive by Farewell on Friday from 12:00-12:30. Grade 6 Farewell and Thank You

Grade 6 Farewell and Thank You Miss G's Speech! Well room 17, it’s been a wild ride to say the least. I know we’ve only been together since January, but we did it. To the grade sixes, who always kept me on my toes, this day is for you. I cannot believe how far you have all come in the last six months, yet it’s time for you to move on to junior high.  I truly appreciate each and every one of you and am amazed at how much I have learned from you all. Between keeping me up to date with video games, the latest meme, or the newest youtube sensation, I am not sure what I will do without you next year. In all seriousness, you have all taught me so much and I am grateful for the time I did have with you here at BHS. I am the most proud of you! Your presence and humour in the classroom will be missed by myself and here at Beddington I’m sure, but it’s still your time to shine. Athens brochures, narrative stories, news articles) - We will be having a spirit day every Friday for the month of June. This Friday it will be Sports Jersey/Favourite Sport Team Day!  Wear your team colours, hats, and jerseys!
